The WEJATC is a joint venture of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) L. U. 271 and the Kansas Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Those in the WEJATC Apprenticeship will receive 900 hours of classroom instruction and 8000 hours of on-the-job training. Apprentices will be paid wages and benefits in accordance with our advancement scale. Benefits include:

Health Insurance (Blue Cross), paid vacations, two pension plans including an additional optional 401k.

The WEJATC is a Kansas registered Apprentice program and follows the standards and curriculum as set forth by the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee.
